Arizona Ghost town of Humbug - and the Pero Bonito goldmine, deep in the Bradshaw Mountains! The first two-minutes represent
over an hour of dust-eating dirt roads. Then we switch to a purpose-built offroad vehicle for the rest of the kidney-grinding trip

We are on our way to the 1890's ghosttown of Humbug, and the Pero Bonito Gold mine beyond!
The Pero Bonito (Handsome Dog) gold mine, was discovered in the
mid-1880s, and grew to more than three levels before work stopped for good in 1939. The third level's main adit stretches
758-feet, with several horizontal and vertical shafts branching off. Dave Burns is pictured, showing me a quartz

The journey to Humbug, is a fourty-minute helicopter ride from
Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport, or three-and-one-half-hours by car and offroad 4x4-vehicles - deep into the Bradshaw Mountains
of beautiful Arizona.
